Description
Original HeliCoil Plus taps are adapted for this thread system and must be used for tapping the threads. HeliCoil Plus taps can be used to create threads in Aluminum, Magnesium, Steel, Copper, Bronze, Brass and Zinc alloys. In addition, HeliCoil Plus internal thread limit gauges must be used for checking that the thread is true to gauge. Finishing taps are used for through holes and may be used for blind holes only if sufficient tapping space is available. The minimum requirement is 1D length deeper than the fully cut thread length.
